Apr. 15 Aurora Noon Lions Club is hosting an Easter Bunny Breakfast at Luigi’s Pizza & Fun Center, 732 Prairie Street in Aurora. Serving from 7:30 to 11 AM. Menu includes pancakes, sausages, mini donuts, orange juice, coffee, or milk. Free color photos with the Easter Bunny taken. Tickets are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children 3-12 years old and $20.00 for a family.

Apr. 15 Bartlett Lions’ Easter Egg Hunt, 1:30 PM at the Bartlett Community Center — 5,500 eggs for the children to find.

Apr. 15 Sandwich Lions Club is offering a free children’s Vision Screening in conjunction with the Sandwich Park District Easter Egg Hunt at Knights Park, 1001 N. Latham, Sandwich. Screening will be from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. This screening is most helpful for children from 6 months to 6 years of age — parental approval will be required. Apr. 16 Lisle Lions Club’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Lisle Jr. High School (on the football field if weather is O.K., otherwise, in the school gym). Be there by 1 PM Sharp if you want to collect eggs!!

Apr. 22 Lions’ Raceway Woods 5K Run and Walk co-sponsored by the Elgin Lions Club & Dundee Township Lions Clubs at Raceway Woods in Carpentersville. Register at: LionsRaceway5KRun.com. Entry fees are $30 through April 21. $35 on the day of the race. Registration starts at 6:30 AM. Race starts at 8 AM. Parking is located just north of Huntley Road, west side of Rte. 31 — watch for signs!

Apr. 23 LIONS DAY WITH THE WHITE SOX at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago – game starts at 1:10 PM. $10 for parking. May 01 Reservations and Payment are due today for South Elgin Lions Club’s Poker Run & Pub Crawl on May 13, 2017. The bus leaves from the Moose in town at 12 Noon — back at the Moose by 5 PM for the survivor’s dinner. Cost is $35.00 per person. Best poker hand wins $400.00. May 12 Sandwich Lions Club’s Annual Lou Brady Draw Down Raffle will be held at the Fox Valley Older Adults facility. Proceeds will provide two scholarships for graduating Sandwich High School seniors. The Grand Prize is $1,000 and you do not have to be present to win. Tickets are $30.00 each and includes a dinner from The Upper Crust with a cash bar. Raffle starts at approximately 6:30 PM with the meal around 7 PM.

As a supporter of the LEO movement the USA LEO LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION (USALLF) is asking for donations from Lions Clubs, of $50 to $1,000, mailed to USA LEO LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION, P.O. Box 266, Croton on Hudson, NY 10520 to obtain motivational speakers and Youth Development professionals for Lions attending to learn more about working with our youth. All donors will receive a Club Patch as a token of our appreciation for support of our LEOs.
