May 24-25  American flags and a pamphlet on the American flag will be presented to all 1st graders in nine local elementary schools by the Bartlett Lions Club.

May 31-Jun. 03    Roselle Lions’ Rose Festival.

Jun. 01       South Elgin Lions Club will host the LIF Hearing Screening Bus at Heritage Woods, 700 North McLean, South Elgin, from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Jun. 03       Lions of IL Foundation “Walk For Sight” takes place at 1413 Viking Drive (parking), Geneva IL 60134 (west of Randall Road). Registration starts at 1 PM with the Opening Ceremony  at 2:15 PM. Walk begins at 2:30 PM. Fun activities through the day such as a Beep Baseball demo, walk the “Blind” Obstacle Course, or listening to music. Make it a day and come picnic with us. See the cement-mixer grill!  All activity ends at 4 PM.

Jun. 04       Crystal Lake Lions Club’s 2012 Golf Outing at Boone Creek Golf Club. Registration at 9:30 AM - Shotgun Start at 10:30 AM. Jul. 26        District 1-J Golf Outing at Hughes Creek, 1749 Spring Valley Drive, Elburn, IL. $75 per golfer gets: cart & golf on a great course, lunch, and a steak dinner. Shotgun start at 10 AM.
