Mario Gumino Roselle Lions Club

Lion Mario transferred to the Roselle Lions Club in 1996 and has achieved 100% attendance for all 14 years.  Lion Mario has served his club as President, Secretary and Treasurer.  Lion Mario has been awarded a Melvin Jones Fellow, is a Lions of Illinois Foundation Progressive Sustaining Supporter, is a Lions of Illinois Progressive Foundation Fellow and he has been awarded the Jim & Joyce Davis Lifetime Service Award.

Lion Mario served as District Membership Chairperson from 2002-2004 and as District 1-J Zone Chairperson from 2005 to present.  He has attended all District 1-J Conventions since 1996, most Region Meetings and all State Conventions,

Lion Mario has devoted much time to Boy Scout Troop 2 in Sycamore, Illinois as an assistant scout master and currently holds the position of troop 2 Committee Chair.  He has also devoted the past 2 years as secretary of the Fine Arts Boosters for the Genoa Kingston High School Bands and he has devoted time and efforts sitting on the Budget and Finance Committee of the DeKalb Area Association of Realtors for the past 3 years.

Lion Mario was elected Second Vice District Governor in April 2011.  Lion Mario is married to Karen and has one son.
