Lion Dave joined the Waterman Lions in 1978 sponsored by father
Lion Wayne.
He served as
Secretary from
1982-1985 and
2002 to current
Lion Year.
President
1985-1986 and
again in
1990-1991.
He has served on
the Board almost
every other Lion
Year, Chaired
almost all
committees and
currently has 26
years perfect
attendance.
Lion Dave has
sponsored 11 new
members into the
Waterman Lions
Club.
Lion Dave was appointed Zone Chairman in 1989-1990 Lions year.
He moved up to
Regional
Chairman in
1994-1995.
Then Vice
District
Governor in
1999-2000.
Lion Dave served
as District
Governor in
2000-2001
earning 100%
Governor's
Award.
Lion Dave is now in his Forth year as District 1-J Cabinet
Secretary /
Treasurer.
He has earned
several
International
President's
Certificates,
The
International
Leadership
Award, The
International
Presidents Award
and The
Jim/Joyce Davis
Lifetime Award
from District
1-J.
Lion Dave and wife Mary have been married almost 34 years with two
daughters Carmen
Lorann with two
Grandkids
Dominic and
Allyssa and
Kimberly Haskins
married to
Brett.
