Lion Nancy Rex

Sandwich Lions Club

Lion Nancy Rex is a member of Sandwich Lions Club of Sandwich, Illinois, since 1990.

Lion Nancy has served the Sandwich Lions Club by attending meeting regularly, participating in club projects and activities, accepting leadership responsibilities when elected to the board of directors including third, second, and first vice presidents and president of the Sandwich Lions Club for year 1998-1999.

Lion Nancy has attended District 1-J Conventions, Lion of Illinois Conventions, Lions of Illinois Forums and Lions Clubs International Conventions.

Lion Nancy was appointed to the District 1-J Cabinet in Lions year 1994-1995 and was appointed Zone Chairperson for the Southwestern Region of District 1-J from Lions year 1997-1998 through 2006-2007.

Lion Nancy is a Lions of Illinois Foundation 25th Anniversary Fellow, a Melvin Jones Fellow and a recipient of the Lion District 1-J Jim and Joyce Davis Lifetime Service Award.

Lion Nancy was a charter member of the Sandwich Lioness Club and served on the board of directors including one year as president.

Lion Nancy worked as a teacher for the Sandwich Community School for 26 years, for Rex Insurance Agency for 7 years, is currently employed part time at Salem Lutheran Church in Sandwich, Illinois and serves on the Board of Directors of The Sandwich Fair Association.
