John Hilliard is a licensed Auctioneer in the State of Illinois. John has been an Auctioneer for 30 years, was the owner of two Auction Houses and currently is a contracted Auctioneer for two Auction Firms calling about 100 auctions a year including approximately 20 Charity Auctions. No fee is charged for Charity Auctions raising over $3,000,000. In the last 20 years.
John has been a member of the Bartlett, IL Lions Club for 40 years, currently serving as 1st Vice Governor for District IJ of Lions Clubs International. He has received the International President’s Award for service, District IJ Governors Award for Service and is a Melvin Jones Fellow and a Lions of Illinois Foundation Fellow.
Other interests include Bartlett Park District Treasurer for one year, Bartlett Park District President for two years, Bartlett Park District Volunteer as long time coach in youth and men’s sports, Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department Fireman for eight years, served as Secretary for one year, Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department Life Member, Auctioneer for Spectrios Eye Institute for several years, Spectrios Volunteer of the Year Award 2010, received Parks and Recreation Special Volunteer Award, First Eagle Scout from a Bartlett Boy Scout Troop, Vigil Honor Member of the Order of the Arrow and Two-Year Lodge Chief, long time member of St. Peter Damian Church in Bartlett, IL and St. Mary Church in Huntley, IL serving as Lector and Eucharistic Minister.
John resides in Huntley IL with his wife Lion Susan, has five children; Traci, Lisa, Eric, Heidi and Rachael, ten Grandchildren and Junior (the new puppy).
